After a ridiculously successfully season in which 4 of our 6 sides got promoted we go again with search for new talent to add to our ranks. The Algarve Tour proved to be huge success – massive thanks OK to Staunts for organizing an amazing tour!

We did pretty well in the footy, with both Old Thorns teams reaching the semi-finals but sadly ‘Team A’ lost the final on penalties.

Still the main thing was everyone had an amazing trip and after 3 years without a Tour this really made up for the lost time! Great stuff!

Results

Another fine set of results this week with the 2s continuing their rich vein of form vs Sedcopians. Elsewhere wonderful news for the 4s as they got promoted from South 2 as they won 2-1 via a penalty in the last two minutes.

Only one game this week with our home ground still in the use of the Rugby 7s.

The 6’s were in action in Hampton Court against Tiffinians trying to keep their faint hopes of a South 8 title alive and managed to secure a 7-1 win. Well done boys!
